Stress Reduction – Concepts and Meditative Practices
It is well recognized by the scientific community that stress is a causal factor in most disease states. Reducing stress is therefore essential in both preventing and healing both biological and psychological disease. More so, living a less stressful, more relaxed existence is conducive to overall physical and emotional well-being. It also allows for and facilitates the increased experience of higher levels of contentment, achievement, creativity, happiness and joy.
